The tour starts with a pick-up from your hotel at 9:00 AM. Upon arrival in Colombo, visit the Fort area, the heart of British administration. Next, explore Sea Street, a bustling goldsmith’s quarter. Visit the Dutch Church of Wolfendhaal, which dates back to 1749, and then head to the Kelaniya Buddhist Temple, one of Sri Lanka’s oldest and most revered temples. Continue with a tour of the Colombo Museum and Natural History Museum to delve into the country’s rich culture and natural heritage. Afterward, you’ll visit Pettah Bazaar for shopping and see the replica of the Avukana Buddha. The tour concludes with a visit to the Independence Memorial before returning to your hotel.
